One year ago today Nancy began writing a devotional in spanish, under the name " Day by Day with you ". It was born out of personal need to grow spiritually and in turn help other women in their daily walk with the Lord. At the time I had come down with covid, and we were far from home. Day by Day was born during that week. In this daily devotional, Nancy writes about her own battles, struggles, as a mother, wife and woman. Initially she had other women in similar situations in mind as her target audience, but now, it has become directed to women and men alike. The devotional starts with a scripture, then a short personal application, and it ends with a challenge. Nancy writes concise and clear. She is a woman of few words when it comes to express important truths and ideas. I have learned to appreciate this approach to writing-speaking, as I have gotten to know Nancy.
