Norberto grew up as a missionary kid in Argentina and Paraguay. For Julie, who was born and raised in Michigan, the mission field has provided many wonderfully challenging and exciting experiences.
We both felt called to missions before we met at Anderson University. We married outside on a very hot day in August in 2000 in the lovely state of Indiana. We took off on a hot air balloon and the adventures haven't stopped since that first ride.
Shortly after finishing seminary, we sold almost everything they owned and bought an 88 Suburban and drove to South America from Anderson, Indiana. It was an exceptional adventure! We arrived in Paraguay on November 9, 2002.
We love hiking, road trips, snail mail, gardening and playing with our dogs. Our two kids are amazingly flexible and bright and we can't keep 'em clean for the life of us.
We are super blessed.
